Hey, um...why is your site designed so weird? Big text, backwards colors? Dark background and light text? What's up with that? Its easier to read. Try staring at a light bulb for a while. Hurts, doesn't it? Ever watch TV at night without lights on? Your computer monitor is also a light source - so you don't want the page to look like a piece of paper with a white background. The computer is a different medium, so you need to use different presentation. The page has large text because I'm tired of going to web pages and having to squint to read the pages. I've set these pages to be easily read on monitors with large resolutions. I've had to use my own computer as the 'standard.' My monitor resolution is currently displaying 1024x768 pixels. I try to make sure these pages can be read comfortably on this monitor with standard font sizes. I highly recomend the web browser FireFox. Firefox is secure, pretty-bug-proof, has tabbed browsing, and you can change font sizes at will to whatever you like. The site is mostly text-based simply because I don't use many graphic files. This site is also hand-coded and designed for the dial-up user - less graphics = faster loading time. What is the purpose of these web pages? The goal of these pages is threefold:
